With nearly 30 years of experience, Joelle Balmir-Thevenin, DDS is a compassionate dentist who offers comprehensive, high quality gentle dental care in her state-of-the art practice.

Dr. Balmir-Thevenin completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1986 at Faculté d'Odontologie in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. In 1988, she attended NYU and became licensed in New York. She practiced in NY for over 5 years before relocating to Miami, working in Little Haiti and North Miami prior to opening her current practice. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Dade County Dental Society and the Florida Dental Association.

Dr. Balmir-Thevenin and her staff are proud of the warm patient-friendly environment they have created and of the lifelong relationships they have built with multi-generational families in the area. Dr. Balmir-Thevenin welcomes patients of all ages and looks forward to meeting you and offering you the professional, caring and pain free oral health care that you deserve.

When not in the office, Dr. Balmir-Thevenin enjoys reading, cooking, nature, photography, music and theater.
